I can’t believe the Prime Minister!  “never mind”??? Is that all he could mutter?

Just a little background, there was a poll run by the Malaysian Merdeka Center recently, interviewed about 1006 Malaysians on what they think of the Prime Minister.  Briefly, about 60% of those surveyed gave him the thumbs down.

Even the STAR online, their very own mouthpiece in the printed media, also is finding it a little bit hard to put his “nevermind” answer as mildly as possible, trying not to look too stupid.  Yet we know, how ignorant he is and the STAR is running out of gentle words to describe him.

When I read it, I go “oh my goodness, this man is so unbelieveable!”.

Any other leader from any other countries would not react this way definitely!

Perhaps, an apology to all Malaysians and to strive to do better before he leaves?  Isn’t that more worthy of a leader to do?  Or perhaps, an acknowledgement and a promise to do better in the next 2 years before he step down the throne?  Why a “never mind lah”?

Oh my goodness, I seriously don’t know how to react.  Its really my fault, its really my fault.. I should not have voted him in 2004… *sob sob*

If it is chedet who were surveyed, I would expect a much better respond.  But on the other hand, I know chedet would not receive thaaaaaat kind of results in the first place if the same 1006 Malaysians were interviewed again.  If it is Anwar, I know he will fight back!  But…. apalah Pak Lah ni…

When he wanted to increase petrol prices, less than a 24 hour notice was made.  Causing great chaos in many parts of the country with cars queuing up for a few kilometers and up to 2 hours to pump full tank at the very last minute.

When it is about time to fulfill a promise made, to bring down petrol prices, why the 1-month delay?  Singapore is already doing it.  Why are we delaying it further?  The damage has been done.  Why does he want the damage to worsen?  Why can’t he think for the people of the country who are suffering?

Malaysian bloggers want to know why the delay?  Malaysian bloggers unitedly wanted to know, will the prices of things go down if petrol prices do really go down come 1 Sept 2008? The damages such as the increase in food, supplies, transportation, industrial, building and construction, and etc, with many surrendering their contracts back to the government, will we ever see these prices go down as well?  What goes up, will it come down again as per the law of gravity?  As one blogger put it so accurately, in the BN’s world, as far as the rakyat is concerned, what goes up stays up!  Oh man.. why do I vote them back in 2004??  Why oh why???

By the way, my question is, how much will it go down?  10cents?  Or RM1?  He is so good at spiralling it up to 60%, will he be equally as good to spiral it downwards by a stunning 50% minimum?

Why is he not ashamed that his nic name on cyberspace is truly Bodohwi?  With due respect, I have never addressed him that way.  As a matter of fact, as angry as I am of Badawi, I still call him Badawi.  But I just don’t understand why is he not standing up for himself in the cyberspace?

When I read chedet.com everynight, I really can’t deny the strong points and solid substance that Tun Mahathir brought up in almost every article.  When I read what Badawi commented on different issues surrounding the nation in our mainstream medias, he is just repeating the situation with no solid facts and no substance to show.  Is he a man of substance?

I am not sure if I have hurt him with my comments, but seriously, can he do something about his all new low popularity of himself?  Do you think the STAR or any of the mainstream media will report what the Malaysian Insider reported?  That Badawi has hit the new all-time low popularity among the 1000plus Malaysians who were involved in the Survey?

I see no substance at all lah.  Seriously.  Even the short article and the short interview with Wan Azizah, hey, I can see she’s a woman of substance.  But … what about the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi?  Can I say the same of him?

I went around on international news online portal and was eager to see what the world think of us.  From what is published, foreign investors may have minimal confidence in us.  There are just too much happening.  Questions such as, Why is Najib mum on the answers with regards to Altantuya murder case when questions were posed?  Why is Malaysian police forces seem to take side and leaning towards the ruling coalition?

But on my side, as I was reading those articles, it did saddened me a little to see that what our government leaders have done thus far, is only harming us even further.  Yeah, they are the actors in the whole saga, but we are the victims as we are made to suffer in their lack of integrity, and lack of having the rakyat at heart and lack of service towards us.

Last night, I went to Taman Bahagia’s Ming Tien food court for dinner.  It so break my heart to see an old Indian man going from table to table asking patrons to buy his kacang (nuts).  Life is so tough.  At that hour, he should be at home spending time with his family, or resting his body.  It was almost 10pm.  But no, he was going from table to table.  And people were rejecting his kacang.  But I did wonder, how much can he make from selling kacang putih?  Even then, the little that he made, he is grateful to his customers.  From now on, I shall not reject anyone.  Even if I am not interested to buy, I will just take a look and offer a smile.  They deserve better treatment.  We are all in this together.

So, it crossed my mind.  Have Badawi, or Najib, come down and see this kind of scenario before?  Or are they too comfortable in the comfort of their own luxurious office/home?  Seriously, have they?

With the latest shocking discovery of Saiful and his sodomy claims, I am wondering what is his next course of action?  I think he may probably be too scared now.  He could be calling Najib now and ask “how, how, how?  Die, die, die already lah”.  I could almost hear him in my mind.  Najib would probably be saying, “stay calm, stay calm.  I am thinking of something”.  Shoot me down, but maybe there may be a twist into the story in a few days time.  The doctor is right to go into hiding.  We may not know what is happening, but it is obvious, that someone is orchestrating the whole event.

What about Raja Petra Kamaruddin?  I still do not understand why is a blogger charged when the one who should be charged are the ones who are involved in the whole drama?  He is just an innocent bystander and one who watches and reports everything on his website.  This is democracy lah.  What about the STAR and the mainstream media?  They report things too.  And they repeat facts on Raja Petra’s website.  So how?

If he has evidence, then go study the evidence.  Prove it.  Use the evidence to uphold justice and righteousness.  What was done thus far is really a waste of money and time and resources.  I shall hold my peace.  I can only shake my head.  And my thoughts is shared by the Chee Cheong Fun uncle just last week.

Ok, I have detoured much from the original title of this entry.  But forgive me.  I am a girl.  We tend to get long winded a little bit.  But I still want righteousness and justice to prevail in Malaysia.  Will I get that?  Will we get that?

I am sorry I took such a long break from blogging.  There were too many happenings in the last two weeks that it was getting more confusing and more difficult to keep up with the latest news in our political scene.  It is becoming very disturbing for our nation to endure such political rivalry that ultimately, at the end of the day, the rakyat are the ones who are suffering.

I shall not repeat facts that are saturating the Malaysian blogesphera at the moment.  But the rivalry between Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Rakyat is intensifying and the rakyat is getting impatient.

A leaked medical report on Sodomy II is making the BN government look really bad.  The U-turn by PI Bala made Najib look really bad.  The Terengganu Mercedes controversy made Badawi look really weak and his flip-flop administration is really tearing the country down.

Our inflation rate has shoot up.  The highest in 26 years.  Badawi was not heard commenting on it.  Remember the past when he said the following:-

“Saya pantang di cabar” - Do not challenge me
“Saya Perdana Menteri” - I am Prime Minister.

It is not the rakyat that is cabar-ing (challenging) Badawi at the moment.  It is his own doing that he put himself in such hot soup.  Our economy is floating.  Is he going to take up the challenge to help us, or is he going to just sing the song “saya pantang di cabar”?  I don’t know.  I just think that he is really very weak.

Until now, I have not heard his comments on our economy.  Anyone heard?  World oil prices have gone down and is now floating around USD120 per barrel?  Seemingly it may even goes down south to USD60-USD80 per barrel, so ahem!  why are we paying so much for our own oil?  Where is the 30cents discount mentioned?  Why is the STAR not publishing the drop in oil prices in the front page?  Isn’t this a good news that should be share by all?  Why only publish deragotary news that eliminate confidence of being a Malaysian?

Now, detour a bit back to our political case.  I seriously think it is about time that the BN government be re-evaluated again whether they are worthy to serve Malaysia.  With so much uncertainties and doubts and questionable defense, it is about time that they face the rakyat’s wrath.  It is obvious that the Rakyat does not have confidence in their administration anymore.  We want clean leaders.  We want ministers.  Ministers who live up to the definition of the word “ministering”.  We do not want questionable people leading us.

I certainly do hope that Anwar will make it by the 16th September.  I just can’t wait.

Yeah, finally Najib claimed that he is using the Perdana, and so is Badawi.  So why should a small state use the great and mighty Merz?  So, what is the Cabinet’s decision?  I can almost predict its outcome already.

The cars have been ordered and have been used since yesterday.  Cars, as we know it, depreciate the moment you put your butt in at the first seating.  So, if the Cabinet were to disapprove the car usage, will the Terengganu government claimed foul?  Will they cry over spill milk?  What will Najib do?  What will Badawi do?  I hope the worst will not happen. I hope Pak Lah would not say “Takpe lah”…

I fear that the Cabinet members approve it, and decide that everyone on the Cabinet drives the Merz and abandon the Perdana.

But let’s just see what will Najib do?  WWND???

Karpal Singh, a true tiger of Jelutong, is calling and asking for Najib to testify in the Altantuya case.  Questions now remain, will he goes up to the witness stand?  Will he bersumpah again?  Oh forgive my stupid question, definitely he will bersumpah if given a chance.  Will he be bold enough to be questioned by Karpal Singh if he is truly innocent.  Is he guilty till proven, or is he innocent till proven guilty by the BN government?  Its going to get interesting to watch how he is going to fare in this.

It is going to be interesting to see what Badawi might do.  Will he fold his arms and just give remarks of “He should….”, or will he have some plans up his sleeves?

Karpal also wants “DSP Musa Safri, Najib’s aide — and recall private investigator P. Balasubramaniam — to the witness stand before the trial resumes this Wednesday”.  I think it is about time that we hear this runaway u-turn PI again.  Maybe he may be under some threat, or blackmail, or his family lives may be in danger, but will his statements be trustworthy?  Will he make anymore U-turn when call to the witness stand?  It is going to be an interesting development.  I am going to watch all these.

I would really like to see, in this Islamic nation of bersumpah bersumpah all, will Najib’s sumpah save him from this ever-haunting Altantuya murder case?  (Pun intended).

Way to go Karpal!!

Last Saturday, I went to MidValley wanting to catch the movie “Journey to the Center of the earth 3D”.  I was at the same floor as where Carrefour is.  Then the lift, meant to go down to P1 and P2, stopped.  I find myself going in.  Then at P1 and P2, no one stepped out from the lift.  Then the left went up to G, 1, 2, 3rd and I alighted from it.

Malaysians is a funny lot.  They prefer to take the lift to go down to the basement level than to wait for another lift.  Malaysians enjoy fighting for some space in the overcrowded lift rather than waiting for one empty lift.  I am a Malaysian, and I am guilty of this antic as well.

We all know by now, since it is announced by the Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said that the Terengganu government spent over RM3.43million to buy 14 Mercedes E200 Kompressor cars.  Jeff Ooi put it even more humourously, “A Tale of Two States”.  That is so aptly put.  Terengganu may be oil-rich.  Not only that, but Terengganu has one of the greatest potential to be a world’s famous tourist destination spot with its other natural resources, ie, diving haven, sunny beaches, etc.  But the people in Terengganu is not one of the richest one around!  Instead, they look like they are still staying in the 70s, 80s.

And to see their leaders spending lavishly on a luxurious lifestyle.  Hey, I thought the PM said “change your lifestyle”?  But why isn’t the BN government in Terengganu practising it?  Excuses such as “cheaper long term maintenance” is just merely excuses.  Someone commented, why not buy a cheaper car such as the Sonata 2.0?  It is also cheaper to maintain.  Why settle for something so luxurious in such a time as this? Where is the cut-cost feature of this government?

And you know what, where is the pride of being Malaysians as SHOULD BE examplified by these leaders?  Why settle for a foreign product?  This is such a big big blow to our national car.  This also tell that our national car, after MORE THAN 20 years of “maturity” is still very much lacking in many ways.  And this is proven by what this BN government just did with over RM3million.  That’s almost like driving a bungalow around Terengganu.  And here I am, struggling to save even 10cents on a cup of coffee by walking the distance!  Here I am, driving without turning on the aircond and here they are, driving in luxury and comfort when they do not deserve it at all.

If possible, I would really like to hear what the Proton management has to say about their cars being rejected by the Barisan Nasional government in Terengganu.  So far, we have yet to hear from them.

Taking 2 days off away from the computer.  Interesting developments have taken place since my blog this morning.  wishing every one a great weekend…

I remember clearly that during Malaysia’s 12th General Election exercise, Barisan Nasional’s manifesto was Security, Peace and Prosperity.  You can download a copy of their manifesto here.

Clearly, after more than 100 days of being the current ruling coalition, I am grading them a BIG BIG RED F for their failure to keep to their manifesto.  Do we have security in the past 100 days?  We have got unsatisfied people, and false alarm on street demos.  We have traffic jams and we have  compromised security in the past 100 days.  I have got a few samans from the fat-men-in-white at Jalan Sg Besi unfairly and as well as ’speeding’ at 60kmph when the speed limit was 50kmph on a highway at Teluk Intan.

Peace.  Obviously that was the last thing that we truly have at the moment.  Right now that the petrol price have gone up, did you notice there are more Malaysian police everywhere?  There are more roadblocks everywhere even before this Anwar-sodomy case was brought up?  Someone on the street commented, “The police got no more money to pump petrol already lah!” so they setup more roadblocks and find more faults with you.  Guys be careful.  They are targetting the guys more.  So, where is the peace that Pak Lah promised before 8th March 2008?  What about the unnecessary ‘un-peaceful’ treatment that Anwar was subjected to just a few days ago?  It gives no peace to no Malaysians for the way the authorities is treating the rakyat.

Prosperity.  I didn’t know Barisan Nasional’s definition of prosperity is only for themselves and not for Malaysians in general.  They were referring to their prosperity, not ours.  How can I miss that point then?  They didn’t say they will bring prosperity to us.  Petrol prices up, inflation up, hawker food up, price of goods up, price of food up.  I guess that’s their definition of prosperity.

So, me, the rakyat, the judge of Barisan Nasional’s promise in the manifesto… a big F!
